of course there is methods, Ive been out of the game for a while, but key is to find a site that uses AVS (ADDRESS VERIFICATION SYSTEM) say you have an item worth $500 go an buy that item, simply put a wrong address in and if it comes back AVS MISMATCH that means your card is VALID and it does have $500 on it, the only reason it didn't go thru because the address didnt match the card holders, not if your card comes back DECLINED means your cad is DEAD or there isnt enough cash on the card, best way is to just check your card is VALID first then use the other site to check how much money is on the card, this method doesnt kill your card either..best way is to just search around...google "avs mismatch" or Yes i site verifies billing or must match card holders address. ETC
