Paypal uses computers to detect possible fraud. How to do it ? MATHEMATICS



Fraud Probability = (account time / money to be moved) subtracted from X



What is X ? It is an average. All the money has been moved previously divided by the total number of transactions. If X equals zero, paypal red alert is be active



There are four variables - Time of account, money to move, money that has already been moved, total number of transactions



Two red flags = two blocked accounts. Paypal does not analyze an individually account, but the relationship between multiple accounts.
