This is the second edition of John Zelle's Python Programming, updated for Python three. This book is intended to be used because the primary textbook during a college-level 1st course in computing. It takes a reasonably ancient approach, accenting drawback determination, design, and programming because the core skills of engineering. However, these ideas ar illustrated employing a non-traditional language, specifically Python.
Although Python is employed because the language, teaching Python isn't the most purpose of this book. Rather, Python is employed as an instance basic principles of style and programming that apply in any language or computing surroundings. In some places, I actually have by design avoided sure Python options and idioms that aren't usually found in different languages.
